Cinque Terre

About Cinque Terre

When you think of the Cinque Terre come to mind the iconic colorful houses that seem to be scattered at random on rocks overlooking the sea or along lanes dotted with small fishing boats. Unique and breathtaking views spring to mind, the scent of the sea and the new wine, or the Sciacchetrà liqueur, a sweet dessert still unknown to the rest of Italy.

When you think of all these things you can't stop dreaming of the next trip to these five ("Cinque") villages, from the most famous and photographed (but very crowded in Summer) Manarola and Vernazza, to the stupendous Monterosso and Riomaggiore up to the less visited Corniglia, the only one not bathed by the sea.

Whether you are on a cruise ship docking a few hours in Livorno or La Spezia, staying in Florence or Genoa and looking for a day-tour not to be forgotten, or that you would rather spend a few day in this very narrow stretch of land lying between rocky cliffs and sea, the Cinque Terre will keep everything what they promise... giving you also something extra that you didn't think you could find!
